I've just come across this
session bassist
as his new album inner portrait is being advertised in the UK's Bass Guitar Magazine which has just come through the door.
Sounds like he's been around quite a while and has played with some big name artists. He's posing with a very nice balance K heart omega with a stinger. looks like it's signature electronics.
Maybe someone else knows more.

Great playing Victor. Your bass sounds wonderfully clear, clean and melodic.
I think that's the best quality video footage I've seen on youtube.

Just bought the album Victor and I'm loving it. The upper register playing is superb and alot of it sounds improvised. Even if there wasn't a picture on the sleeve, you could tell instantly that it's an Alembic. If I have one minor gripe it's that there's not much info on the CD sleeve about what the other musicians play (apart from Dennis Chambers, the other names are a mystery waiting for me to google) and the pictures of you and that beautiful bass are too dark ;-)
Graeme (looking forward to the sequel)

Just happened across this album yesterday, really enjoying it! On first listen I thought, that sounds like an Alembic, and lo and behold!
Plus he's local to me - Oakland, CA!!!

Hey Victor,
Did you spend time in Portland, Oregon? I think we were pals back in the day. I used to play with Duffy Bishop... and maybe you were with Curtis? Is this the same Victor?
If so, nice to see you here!
