Hi Peter, Nice to chat with you today. Your sweatshirt should show up in about a week. Meanwhile, back at your bass, it's living in carving presently:
It's hard to tell before the finish goes on, but it's a nice piece of Flame Maple on the top. A closeup might help a touch:

Yes, plus a small Maple veneer between the Purpleheart accent laminate and the Mahogany body. The flame figure on this bass is extremely dimensional.
