The first kokopelli is getting close to completion:

 Important - this is the back of the inlay, so things like the black mother of pearl will look better from the other side.    James wore the appropriate shirt for inspiration:

The other koko (backside of course!):

 I know it's hard to only see the back, but the front has even more glue obscuring the shell, so it's harder to see anything. James left these in little baggies, and I dare not risk removing them for fear of losing a tiny piece.   Here's the notes:
