 In this picture it's almost ready to get the bookmatch to center top.  Here's the gorgeous top laminate:

 This is a total knockout piece of wood.

Yes, It's a stunning piece. When it looks this good with only an acetone swipe to highlight the figuring, you know it's going to be outstanding with a fresh sanding and the real deal finish on it.  
 
FYI-I had set this piece aside for myself but the customer's needs come first.
