Thanks Hal.   I look forward to the completion of  Toma_hawk as well. It looks like that will be quite soon . The Jester might well turn out to be another awesome innovative tour de force as well.  What sublime fun it will be  to see it come to life .

It ain't over yet : )

I predict you'll be smiling all the way to Santa Rosa when the day comes to pick up your new custom.

Haa haa!!!
Elwood, your statement had me cracking up!!!

Man, I almost fell out of my chair dude.

You know why... it's true, and you know it's true!!!

Altgrendel was also right. I couldn't believe it because I seen David's 12 string hit 225 over a 3 year build period.

My new song: I found my Toma_Hawk, in Santa Rosa.

Hal I gotta be honest. When I first saw the Tomahawk outline I really wasn't sure!.But thanks to the work of the Santa Rosa alchemists and your boundless enthusiasm and creativity this is one that's really grown on me and I continue to follow it's progress, even though, like tmoney61092,that picture of the cookie makes me hungry!!.

Best wishes,

Simon.

Simon, that's usually how everything goes with new things.

Most people generally don't like something different until 'that something', becomes something special.

Well, its Friday (Thank GOD...).

Mica, is it possible to have more of your wonderful pictures of the Toma_Hawk from many areas?

Front, back, side, peg-head, neck full views and with you and or someone in the building?

Please, Mica Please give me a shot of that Alembic juice... I am have a withdraw of wanting to see more...

Hee hee...

Otherwise I'll have to take my frustrations out on beating the heck out my Alembic Shorty... However, Shorty love this treatment...

No, Frankly, I had to go get something on the BBQ grill. My family wanted Chicken burgers last night.

I just hope this bass is ready before the end of 2009 tax year, and preferentially before it becomes an immortal bunt of my wife's jokes that I would have to hear every time I strap the Toma_Hawk on... Who want's to hear this throughout a life time of marriage anyway?

Also, I am planning to have a fret-less Series II bass arsenal addition to my bag of tricks.

Unfortunately, there will not be a FTC for the Jester bass during construction. I don't want to re-live all the excitement of the Toma_Hawk.

So, the option of receiving updates by private emails, is more appropriate to circumspect the potential drama.

As for the Toma_Hawk bass, if I have to wait until after the New Year, I am going to inherit the curses of my wife...

But having the Toma_Hawk before the new year, will bring the Celestial Angeles to sing and forever keep (protect) me from my wife's painful wise cracks

Mica, will the Toma_Hawk be ready before Christmas, or more importantly, before the year end?

It's just a bass, and life goes on either case and there are more important things like family,  good health, and being thankful for the things we have.

GOD had truly blessed me with many great things and I wish Alembic continued success always.

May peace be on all, as this FTC heads toward it's end.

Hal,

My only request (for both basses) is that you post pictures of the completed projects.

Umm, in the appropriate forum.

Thanks!
