[moderator's edit: I have no idea what the purpose of this post was, or how it relates to the present thread, but since several members found it to be outside the acceptable boundaries of this thread, the text has been removed.  As an additional note, the moderator has suggested on several occasions in the past, and it has been noted in the posting guidelines, that religious content, because of its potential to provoke heated emotional responses, is best left outside of this discussion board.  And finally, as this thread is the factory-to-customer thread for a particular build, and as one of the more important functions of the factory-to-customer thread is its use by Mica to communicate with the customer, the moderator feels that it is best if this function be respected by the members of this board.  Oh, and as an addendum, the moderator highly encourages all members to be respectful of and patient with each other, as the moderator has noted that having a compassionate heart tends to make our oh so very brief stay on this beautiful planet all the more joyful.]

I'm not skilled in English and do not follow any religion. So, didn't I got the point or is this just you trying to keep an old arguing going on?
 
Because this Bass will take a long time to be done and we will have to live with this thread for months. I'm a pacifist and don't want to be exposed to that arguing any longer... Please, for Community health sake.

This is what he does... I never communicated with this guy. One minute, I am minding my own business, and all of a sudden, this guy post the bible.
 
This is madness, I believe in my heart, something is wrong with Pierreyes. He needs some help and he get's away with these stunts all the time. I wish Dave would talk to the guy or something...

The guy is probably laughing at us, because he's the only sane person with sense...

How grateful he should be to be given this opportunity to slam a thread designated for the development of an Alembic basses. How wonderful for this guy to be allowed to use, and interpret religious epithets on an area of this site designed for customers and Alembicans to enjoy the stages of production.  
 
It take people like this guy to have people think twice about having one of these threads created. Nobody should have to go through the abuse I had undergone just for a dream. It's plain sick.    
 
On my next bass, I am going to request a private email update and just forward to those people I know could appreciate the healthy interactions.

Actually, I didn't read what he said, and I'm glad I didn't.
From his past comments, I presume he was being disrespectful to you and you bass, Hal.
But you know, let him drown in his own thoughts. You and I and everybody here knows that you are going to have an awesome bass, and no matter what people say, that will never change!!
Let the Toma_hawk rule!!!!

The Toma-Hawk is going to be awesome!  Like I said before, and I know a lot of people on this thread seem to feel the same way (from their positive comments), your bass is something that you helped dream into being.  Sure, Alembic is building it for you, but you conceived it.  You've poured your own unique vision into something that is becoming physical reality, even as we speak, and that's awesome in ways most of us can't begin to describe.
 
We as musicians pluck notes from the ether, and with the help of our mystical Alembics, we then transmit those notes, chords, and melodies out into the audible world, where they might be enjoyed by all.
 
Hal, don't let any of those negative remarks bother you, pal- you're too bright a star to allow any of this garbage bring you down.
