Michael's fretless Essence

You probably have a better idea than just about anyone about what your new bass is going to look like since we're recreating Terry's bass for you. Even so, each one comes out slightly different, so here's yours just before routing. The Purpleheart will really spark up with the finish, and it's already looking great.

The dust behind the bass isn't from your instrument - Tony just finished carving a Coco Bolo guitar.

Hey Michael, that purple heart is beautiful.  I really like the flame pattern in the wood, and the top and neck laminates are obviously a good match.  Your going to love this bass.  Good luck!

Michael:  I love the flames too. Really pretty wood.  Congratulations on what will be a really cool bass!
