Zipped through to carving so fast, these are the first pics I've captured:  

 

 

  Still have lots of carving to do, but you get the general idea.

They always are- especially with Buckeye.  Every buckeye top I see suddenly becomes my new favorite.

Thanks for the pictures. I can't wait it see it with finish. From what I can see the wood fits the characteristics we discussed to a tee.

Keith you lied!! You told me no FTC thread. The Vermillion core looks great with the Buckeye! Looking forwad to seeing some finish on it.

No I didn't. I had asked many months ago to not have an FCT but I suspect it was forgotten as this thread popped up after an e-mail status inquiry. No big deal either way. The important thing is I now have pictures to look at. :-)

Congratulations on your new addition!  Gorgeous!
Your bass is going to be an absolute beauty to watch transition.  Thanks for sharing.  
Of course it will sound incredible with Series I electronics, very nice choices you've made.
