Danno, get well Soon, Bro!  How's that Fretless 7 treating you, eh?  I'm LOVING the Series II Six, it's the best bass I've ever owned, hands down!  I'd love to hear that 10 string, live!  We're headed to NYC soon to play a few shows- Uncle Mike's and hopefully MEANY Fest.  Maybe things will coincide and we can hook up- that will be in the beginning of October, I believe...

Doc gave the green light to lift again so its back to the gym and qigong. And while I wait I order 8 more Kay mugs in case I have company and want all the mugs to match, I ordered 10 initially and me dad gave some to me siblings as a memory of Mom. Oh and I ordered a Status Kingbass Black Beauty 5 with side leds. Gas kicks my ass every time. I imagine they will both hit my wallet around the same time around Christmas. Can't take it with you. Besides with all the anger over teachers pensions, I may not have one in 15-20 years. It will certainly keep me from overeating. So if anyone is looking for some basses I need to make room. Schector 5 Elite, Hamer 12 (Korean), Warwick Dolphin Pro 8 with leds and Stambaugh 4 with double dragon inlay, signature guts and double whammy. I think thats it. Somebody stop me before I spend again!

So you would prefer I don't post on my FTC instrument thread. Interesting. Perhaps Mica can close it and just send me updates via email. What say you Moder Dave and crew?

Danno,
I'm sure Mario was trying to help save your wallet. Maybe blocking Ebay and Craigslist would be more economical. Either way, you gotta stay on your FTC and in the club. You're the leader of the black beauty club (I don't think I mean the pony)

Oh, Danno, you misunderstood me so bad.
I was just trying to make fun or be part of what I thought to be a joke.
May be this is one of those problems about bad translation, but I swear that I wasn't REALLY trying to stop your g.a.s.

Wow, next time I'll just read others FTC, sorry

*(Mike, thanks trying to cool things down)

I'm sure some desperate Alembic addicts (f.i. poor Taylor boy, of course Danno and the Spoiler dude) are dying (actually dying) to see some notorious (for beauty) Alembic finish pictures of this monsterbass.

Only one person on earth can save 'em, picture goddess Mica haz thee power!

If the fates allow, we will see what we can see. Until then we will be content. Just changed strings on the Europa 5 and it feels and sounds like a new baby. Tis a blessing, new strings. Bless us everyone!

The word is it will be getting close attention. So in the mean time its string changing time and adjustments. I've starting using DR DDT strings with a 135 for the B. Super solid and very tight B on the Europa 5. I also have some 125 sets in this so experimenting is in order.

I even tried a set of Flats for the fretless 5. Gonna take some time to get used to those but I'm willing. I also hear a certain bass hero of ours has moved over to DR.
