Here is the wood my mom picked out for your custom bass:  

 

  She calls this "Swirly Girl" Coco Bolo! and hopes you like it as much as she does.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see a certain pronounced face in the top sample of wood?

I wasn't fast enough today to get your bass photographed before it got prepped for its next coat of spray, but I'm sure you can tell even through the sanded surface how cool it's looking.
