I should have caught this a little earlier in the process, but better late then never:

The wood is truly special - very inspiring. Mom has been working on the peghead inlay art, which this bass will be ready for in about a week or so.

Very nice and inspiring design: it's interesting seeing the very balanced look of the body being scattered by the wood design.
I always wonder what it would give to make this wood (or generally spoken all figured woods) off-parallel? Fi: toi make them amgled to the neck-through line andf even not equal on both sides (so the slices of wood shifted to each other).

But (good ol'but)  VERY NICE bass Austin!!!

Mac Ebony is my favorite wood, definitely conjures up warm, exotic thoughts. Not to mention that this bass is going to SING Sing Sing!!!!
great choice.... and congrats.

It's incredible, certainly one of my all time favorites, and definitely a candidate for Featured Custom in the near future.
Stunning wood recipe!

Wow!  That was the first word that was spontaneously uttered by me as I scrolled down this page. What a beauty, and soon to be a heavyweight contender with all of that ebony.  Not quite in the same weight catagory as are Rami's basses, but then again, whose are?

Wow !

My favorite wood was dark Mac. ebony, when I saw this bass.
But this light Mac. ebony is SOoooo.. NICE !
I couldn't imagine the result from wood piece.
I selected dark woods for my bass.

If I can get my new dream, light one will be good choice.

Congratulation! Austin.
