Here's your bass coming together:  

 Here's the body getting glued to the neck.  

 You need to see this up close. What great flames in the Ebony! You've read it a hundred time before, but wait until the finish hits it! This will be shockingly beautiful.

Holy S**t, is this flame Macassar Ebony? I've never seen such a pattern...and the headstock...OMG, that's beautiful. Can't wait for the final pics....wow....
Correction: there is 'much' money to be made above the fifth fret....

I'm glad to see how nice this bass is turning out because I have a bunch of macassar ebony that looks very similar. Won't be ready to use for some time though.
