Here's the top for "Althea"

  and the back:

  The laminates are successive slices from the same board and look super cool.

I think Mica is going to need to find some more adjectives.  Super cool is the understatement of the year.

And here's the embryonic neck:

We were able to save a piece for the back veneer of the peghead, and that's super cool too.

Does this mean I can play like jerry once 'Althea' is complete....ha,ha....he will be jealous his Rosebud isn't the quality of the Guitars Alembic is building right now. Thank you Mica for your post. As a business owner myself I am impressed at your companies professionalism and your enthusiasm to please and understand your client. That is very rare, and This has been a pleasant experience.  (It usually only takes 1 can for continuous wood backplates.)  Test fit:
