Alembic People , I Need Help

hello again, well i was just curious about the options that I could get for the orion 4 sting bass.  Can i order a different body shape and different electronics on this particular bass? If so, what would you all recommend as for electronics, Im looking for alittle bit more than the standard volume, blend, treble, bass.  Im thinkin  volume, volume, p/up selector, filter, q switch, and maybe, a body of birds eye maple, what do you all recommend??

You can change just about any feature for another one, and getting a different body shape is certainly available.  
 
For a set-neck bass (like an Orion), these shapes are in the library now:
 
Orion
Epic
Spoiler
Standard Point/Omega
Small Standard
Rogue
 
other shapes will require a new template to be made, which runs about $350.
 
As far as advice for materials and electronics, I'd need to know a little bit more about what you want the bass to sound like. What kind of music and playing situations will you employ it? Do you want it to be very versatile?

Thank you so much for the additional info,,,  as for electronics, I think ive figured it out, I played a rogue earlier this week and i love these electronics!!!  I can get almost any sound out of those controls!!  Thing is, im a knob person, can i order those same electronics but with a bass and treble knob instead of switches??? also, i think ive figured out a body shape, Mica, this one is for you,  On the custom basses section, there is a 4 string fretless that doesnt have a serial number, i think its the hybrid alembic?? but anyways, i love that body style, would that be additional cost to the amount of a custom  body design?   thanks for your time, your a life saver!

Here's the pricing:

Changing the BT switches to pots would add an additional $350 to the price, and likely another month to the lead time.
 
Since that bass of Valentino's is based on a Standard Point template, so you won't be paying for a new template. The larger body uses more wood, so it's still a little extra.

excellent, how much more would it be for axy pickups and then how much more for the 20th anniversary electronics with the pickup selector located on the lower horn-like on the older series basses-? im sorry, i cant help it, its gotta be perfect, and i will be placing my custom order in late feb or early march, count on it!  thanks soooooooooo much!

oh, and one more thing, like on that hybrid alembic, how much for a fake dummy hum canceller, i know it wont work,but i love the way it looks,    your an angel, thanks mica! dont you just hate these type of people???

You can change the AXY pickup shape for no charge ($50 extra if you want the FatBoys).  Going up to the 20th Anniversary electronics is a big jump, $550 from an Orion. For the brass plate and custom wiring for the pickup selector switch it adds another $45.  
 
Please reconsider the fake humcanceller, especially with the 20th Anniversary electronics, I can see that causing some real confusion over this bass in the future. What might be better is installing a real humcanceller and getting the bass prepared for Series I/II electronics in the future. This runs $550, but makes a future install much easier, and makes a purpose for the decoration of the humcanceller.
