Thank's Jazzy, your comment are always kind. Sadly I don't have something good to record with satisfaction.

This Bass will be unique, very special. Great idea having its top in dark wood contrasting with that light creamy maple. Oreo Bass!
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!

Oreo ?  I don't know what it's mean... But thank's
Mica, please, may you post a picture of a beveled peghead and not beveld peghead ?
I asked too for MOP pictures because I'm not sure what is black thaitian MOP.
I want the usually MOP.

... I was looking on Keith bass (congratulation  ) and now I hesitate between gold plated or chrome hardware...

Thank's in advance

Pierre-Yves - Oreo is the famous chocolate cookie. It has dark black for the top and bottom, with some very light vanilla cream in the middle. Supposed to taste great after you dip it in milk.

I'm waiting and looking for some details like gold or chrome hardware, beveled or not peghead... I'm waiting for Mica's pictures about this.
After, the retailer I choose will be able to do a correct price proposition... I hope the thread can start in 2 weeks ?

Wow, do it in Gold plated Hardware if you can. You're not looking for advice, but gold contrasting with dark wood will be simply outstanding!
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!

Here's an example of the peghead bevel:

You've got examples of a peghead without a bevel on each of the Alembics you currently have.

This shows the gold hardware pretty well.

And here's one for the chrome hardware.

For the black mother of pearl, this image shows a range of colors:

The color is a smoky gray, but still can flash out to pinks and greens like regular white mother of pearl. Each of these pieces will look different. Here's the same inlays above, from a slightly different angle:

Hope this helps.

Yes it's help me and do trouble too... I was speaking with my wife and Tony, I would prefer chrome (not for cost, but for somthing sober with black wood...), difficult to decide...
For inlays, definitely abalone.
For peghead, definitely beveled.
