Hi Curt,

Here's what's in the instrument file:

Custom Orion bass
top: Bubinga
accent: Weng? laminate
body: Mahogany
set neck: Maple with Walnut pistripes, 34 scale
fingerboard: Ebony
pickups: MXY
controls: volume, filter, pan
finish: satin natural polyurethane
originally made for: Bass Northwest custom order
birthday: October 22, 1998

Later, some mods were done here: mother of pearl oval inalys added, Q switch added, second goldplated logo added (original installed below tailpiece), sustain block added, pickups changed to FatBoys.

Actually, I am the person who bought this bass on eBay, so I really appreciate the information. Everything you said matches up with what the seller told me exactly.

I just took delivery of the bass yesterday, and it is simply beautiful!

By the way, how do I go about registering as the new owner? I'll poke around here on the site, but if you get the chance to point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Curt, welcome to the club.
to register yer bass go back to the main sign on page. look for the support tab on the lower line.
select it to show the registration option.
