There's a production note that when we checked the rubout (quality of the finished surface), it was noted as Perfect.
It seems from our records that the bass was not new when it was at Guitar Center, since it was made for another shop. It seems like a standard Elan, but maybe whoever GC got it from planted a kernal of confusion with them.
