Recently purchased this guitar as well as another Alembic off Ebay. Just curious as to what your files say. Great Service BTW, Thanks

Thanks Dave, I can't understand why Alembic Guitars arn't more in demand. Either one blows away any PRS, Gibson etc etc I ever had the pleasure of playing.

Hi Niel,

Here's what I found out about your Electrum guitar in the file:

84E3017 ELG6 Electrum 6-string guitar

top: Bubbly Maple (same as Quilted)
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple, 25.5 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays
pickups: AXY
controls: 2 volume, 2 filter, pickup selector, mono output
special: Kahler tremolo
originally made for: Zapf's Music, PA
birthday: January 3, 1984

The guitar was sent back to us on February 26 for repair from the store selling it. It was refretted under warranty and sent back to the store.

Hello,
I'm the new owner! I got it on ebay from luxlogs.
But the stamped neck serial number is 83E3017, however the paperwork states that the serial number is 84E3017, built on 01/05/84, could it be an 1983, but because it was finished in 1984, it was given the 84E3017 serial number on the paperwork? It's a great guitar!
Thanks, Matt

Welcome to the Club, Matt.

I considered that one myself. Really nice guitar and I think the price lux was asking was more than reasonable. 'Play On!'
