Hello - new to the club (well, I haven't bought yet, so I guess I am not in it yet), and new to Alembics. I am about to buy a Further and would like to get the history on this beauty.

Welcome to the club, Dud.

I don't thnk there are official rules on this (if there are I have not seen them) ? but I don't think you have to own an Alembic to be a club member. I believe club membership is open to anyone who appreciates these fine instrumens and wants to find out more about them.

This is a new Further guitar on display at Guitar Resurrection in Austin, TX.

Here's the specs from the file:

top: Quilted Maple
acccent pinstripes: Purpleheart, Maple, Purpleheart, Maple
core: Purpleheart
back: Flame Maple
neck: 5-piece Western Flame Maple, Purpleheart, Cherry
fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl ovals and side LEDs in red with amber at 12th and 24th positions
finish: polyester gloss with satin neck feel
pickups: SHH
controls: volume, filter x3, pickup off/on/bright x3, LED operation, effects loop operation, effects loop jack, mono output
birthday: August 22, 2006
originally made for: Guitar Resurrection

No registered owners since this is a new piece.
