I bought this bass at Moe's Music in Virginia Beach,VA. The treble control is broken. It works, but spins all the way around. The others are very loose. I want to replace all 4 controls. There are 2 modules with 2 controls each.
They plug in easily. After reading the manual on the collet knobs,I suspect someone tried to pull
the knobs off.I couldn't find how to order these
parts online.I'm guessing I need to make a long distance call.I love playing this bass!

Rick, try prying the cap of the knob off with a little screwdriver. The nut that tightens the knob down is inside the knob.

Hi Rick, welcome to the board!

Is the pot itself spinning or just the shaft that's spinning all the way around?

If the pot is spinning, then as Adam suggested, you may just need to tighten the nut under the knob that secures the pot to the body.  If it's the shaft, then it does sound like it may need to be replaced.

More info on collet knobs is here.

As it's a very early Epic, note that the original pots actually have a smaller shaft than the current ones. If you need a replacement, and you decide to buy from Alembic direct, they do sell both sizes - just let them know which one you need.

Hey thanks for the input guys. The knobs aren't loose. The shafts on the pots are loose.I was not aware that there are two sizes used however.I emailed support and they gave me prices on the controls and also the entire modules.
