Hi Manobap, welcome to the board. There are a number of previous threads on this subject. If you run a search, upper right hand corner of the page, on Bassstar, you'll find them. Essentially, these instruments were made by Geoff Gould and Modulus. The Alembic name on the headstock results from the fact that the first graphite necks were made as a joint project between Alembic and Geoff Gould, and were first used in a number of Alembic instruments. But the Bassstars were made by Modulus. (I hope this is an accurate summary.) And yes there are other Bassstar owners in our forum, and a few Blackknife owners as well. There's also a very nice history of graphite necks somewhere on this forum as well, and there are lots of pictures of Alembics with graphite necks, as well as a few pictures of Bassstars and Blackknifes; you may want to run a search on graphite.
Enjoy!
