I'm now the proud owner of this blonde bombshell.  All maple, nothing custom, although was a sustain block stock in '94?  Any details would be nice, just for the fun of it.  Pics over in the showcase.

neck: 5-piece Maple with 4 Walnut pinstripes
scale: 34 long
fingerboard: Ebony

pickups: Alembic MXY56
controls: Essence volume, pan, filter, mono output
birthday: December 28, 1994
originally made for: 1995 NAMM show display
 
The sustain block was standard for the 5- and 6-string Essence basses, but not the 4-string version.
