This is a funny one! The original owner bought a few variations on this theme, and production was held on a couple of the last ones to see if he wanted any changes. At one point, this was going to have plated hardware, so the serial number was issued when the hardware was made and prepped for plating, but that changed, along with a bunch of other stuff.
