Hello! I bought this beauty 1 month ago. I live in Brazil and took advantage of my girlfriend who was studying in NYC to bring the bass to me. I'm completely in live with she. I've had many basses, such as Jazz Bass, Sting Ray, Warwick, Yamaha... All of them are great guitars, but Alembic is in another level. I'm sure I've finally found what I'd been searching for so long: a versatile bass with a proper voice. Besides that, she's beautiful an play like butter. Amazing! Congrats, Alembic! I think it has a quilted maple top and flamed maple hand with ebony fretboard, but I'm not sure about the rest. Could you please confirm? Another question: could you please confirm if the rotary switch is right? From the most counter-clockwise position, the settings are: 1. standby 2. bridge pickup only 3. both pickups 4. neck pickup only And finally, the tuners don't have that traditional A.
