I am considering purchasing this Essence fretless 5 string. It has 2 trim pots and 3 external switches so the electronics apear to be upgraded. I would like to confirm this and know the type of wood used for the top, and any other non-standard details. Thanks!

Rex, Welcome to the forum! I have searched to see if there was a previous request for a look-up on this serial number and I'm sorry to say that there was not. These are done on a first come first serve basis as a complimentary service when Mica's time allows. With the busy schedule in Santa Rosa these usually take months to complete and not always available when a purchase is on the line. If you are able to get some pictures of the control cavity and the top of the bass some here may be able to help identify what is in question. Good luck with the acquisition, Art
