I'm hoping to get some information on the history of my Series I bass, S/N 76-289. I spoke to someone at Alembic, and was told the top and back are birch, and the core wood (body?)is cherry. I don't see those woods available in your present inventory. Was this an option that was discontinued, or some sort of special order? I bought this bass from the original owner 20 years ago and always wondered what woods were used. Thanks, Glenn
