We all love pics of alembics here so If you post a photo there are many here who will be able to tell you something about your bass until Mica gets time to check out your bass record in her files.

I'm not sure what your knowledge of alembics are but here are a couple of good places to start. You can find a lot of info about Alembics

I'll post photos ASAP. I have photos but they were taken by the previous owners & it's probably better for me to post some of my own.

I've been lurking & reading & researching here for a long time before I bought these two bases. This forum has really been helpful! I love looking at photos of everyone else's basses so I'll def. post mine.

Finally took some (not so great) cell phone photos of the bass.

I think it's a walnut top - nice sort of flame on there.

Looks like Walnut to me too... really nice flame!!! The top looks like it could have come from the same slab as Paul's Bonnie.
