Thank you Mica! It is an amazing piece of work, Jason (SickAura) bought that bass new at that store in 1992, (he even sent me a pic of him playing it that year at a gig) the bass has been gently loved here and there, and when I say that I mean it was played and well taken care of, (you can tell this bass was loved) it just has a few very minor bruises from being 24 years old, but it plays beautifully, the frets look brand new, though it needs some burrs cleaned up on some of the fret ends. The only thing I see that even bugs me only slightly is it looks like one of the side position dots, has come out, (they look like they're brass, are they?) but its no biggie, I honestly thought about having it re finished as the clear has shunk over time and you can kind of feel the laminates in the neck, but to be honest in its current condition dings wouldn't make me cringe as much as if it were shiny and new. The more I mess with the q filter the more I'm in love with it! I love the fact that this bass is what Ill call barely active and that q filter especially rolled all the way off is awesome for old school tones!
