there's a thread over at talkbass discussing Jack Casady and Mr Lesh chatting and playing the new bass. The pics are priceless! I have to post them here. I love this first one...my dream Phil's left hand and Jack's right hand on a Series Bass. Could you imagine?

Interestingly the pickup looks like it's mounted on a sliding rod for moving position.
