Troubles With Distillate
« on: February 24, 2007, 02:02:19 PM »
Hi Friends,
It?s never happened before,
Of one hour for another the sound goes disappearing while I am playing, is as if the battery was finishing.
I opens it behind and detaches and connects again the battery and the sound comes back. But later it goes disappearing, distorting and end.
I don?t know what to do. I placed new batteries and nothing.
Somobody could help me.
Thanks
Ricardo

Are any of the controls loose, not securely attached to the body?

Looking in the cavity, are any controls or boards touching the silver paint?

Are the pickup leads securely attached to the PC board?  Gently unplug and replug the leads.

Thanks Dave.
I sold this bass to a friend and today he wrote commenting this problem.
I suggested to him to joins us in the Alembic Club.
The bass is with him.
I go to guide it and I come back soon
