Did confirming your post for one of them give you more of an upset feeling in your stomach than the other? That should tell you something!
Are you asking the same price for both? If not, what will you do with the extra money if you sell the pricier bass? Does it matter?
Is one of them in better shape than the other? If you want a living room bass, then keep the prettier one. If you're gigging, sell the prettier one before you wreck it!
Are you recording? The S2 should have a few other usable tones that you can't get from the S1 that might shine in the studio more than the living room or the stage.
There's no arguing with easier to play That's why I play SC models, because they are easier to play, making me a better player as a result. Does easier to play in your case make you better or inspire you beyond what you can do with the S1?
