Hi all,
I'm looking for a brass nut for my 4 st Alembic Bass.(20th Anniversary 90/076)
Impossible to buy it in France :-( and Alembic sells nuts with no slots.
Anyone for help?
Peace.

Hi Paul and welcome to the club. I would recommend ordering the nut from Alembic and finding a competent luthier to file the slots for you if you can't do it yourself.

Get the nut from the mothership, it is not that hard to do, have done quite a few bone nuts on fenders, a good vice and a dremel tool with the hard cutter heads or files would do the job fine if you are competent.
