Hello, I'm new to Alembic and proud to own an Alembic Spoiler. I will post him later on in th e show topic.
Electronically it's okay. My only question is: there was an on/off switch for the battery with a LED indicator when the battery/bass is on. Unfortunately one of the previous owners removed the connections.
Here is a picture:

Does someone know how to solder this switch with LED correctly? Thanks!
(I know how to make on/off switch with LED with a battery, but it makes my speakers plop very loud, not a good idea.)

Maybe it's wise to keep the switch in the output intact and simply add the switch and led.

Hi Onno, greetings from a fellow Alembic Hagenees!

I think there was a problem with the earliest Distillates, which had an on/off LED, where the LED actually drained the battery. If this is the same type of LED, I wouldn't reconnect it.

Does it have two switches, or just one? A Spoiler should have the famous Q switch, which works together with the filter. If there is just one switch, then perhaps the LED was wired to be off when the pickup selector was in the mute position.

Adriaan; in the picture it looks like the Q switch is just to the right of the switch in question (which currently has no wires attached).

Those other LEDs will probably drain the battery ten times worse than that single LED - I presume the extra switch controls those side LEDs?

Another Hagenees Adriaan? Funny :-) though The Hague is not a small village.

The side LED's have their own battery. And indeed there are 2 switches. One for the Q-switch and one without a function for now. I have a blue LED, maybe that one doesn't drain the battery.

The only thing I worry about is the plop when turning the battery on and off. Maybe there is a way to avoid that.
