No Sound.....

she was working fine, then batteries died so i said ok i'll just go with power supply form now on & when i plug it in still nothing so i take it to my guy who repairs guitars / amps he tested everything & says he cant figure this thing out either!....what do you think it could be?

Hi Keavin, I hopey, Mica chips in and can give you some pointers to get no12 her voice back. Maybe  it just needs a trip back to base for surgery. Let's I hope it's nothing serious and can be fixed as it would be a shame to  have to retire such a beauty. However, if you decide to retire  her, I have a perfect retirement home in England where she would be very welcome with no charge either. :-)

I've had issues with grounding when messing around with the electronics . . . at least that's what I think it is. All I know is that if the parts touch the shielded cavity the wrong way, I get no sound.

    I can tell you from experience that if something touches the shielded cavity you will in fact have that issue.  I had it with my Europa when I owned it - the circuit board touched the cavity, and no sound.  My solution was to take a bit of a matchbook cover and put it under the circuit board - voila, problem solved.  You may want to try that.
