Hi Darrell; since you are relatively new to the group, I most respectfully wish to make a suggestion or two.
It would be my guess that most members of this group read or skim through most of the threads in each of the sections; it therefore seems counterproductive to start the same thread in two different sections. An example of the kinds of problems this causes is when one member spends an hour or so researching the answer to a question in a post only to find that the poster had asked the same question in another thread where someone else had already answered it. In the current case, someone could have written a long response detailing the past discussions we've had on the subject of conventions, searching for the rather detailed plans that Paul had made or the past meetings that the New England chapter has had, only to find that there is already another thread on the same subject in another section. Sometimes two threads on the same subject happen by accident, such as when two different people spot an interesting bass on Ebay and both start a thread with a link to the auction, not realizing that someone else has already started a thread. Now it may be the case that I am wrong in my assumptions and that members do not have a problem with multiple threads on the same subject. But my guess it that most would find it someone confusing.
Also; since again it is my guess that most people peruse all the sections, it's probably not necessary to post the same pictures in different threads.
But again, these are only suggestions; you and others may disagree with my assumptions, and I am certainly no authority.
