Hello Ron, fantastic solo!! Great tone and yes I could immediately tell the Sheehan influence as I am a big fan of Billy as well. He is the well rounded bassist that took us all to Saturn! As far as finding competent players/band I don't think you are doing anything wrong, it's just that finding great players willing to commit to a band, sacrifice their home life and tour is becoming a thing of the past. So sad to say but it is something that I'm finding more evident everyday. These younger guys don't know what it means to get out there and push yourselves into success. Success has become something that your most killer musician expects once they enter the live playing venue. The adoring fans should be there, the tour buses, catering, and what do you mean we have to provide and load in our own P.A?! Besides, rock and roll has become harder and harder to sell. The die hards don't support it like they use to and these young PUNKS won't spend the money to do so. I will keep you in mind if I find any working bands that need a bassist. It may not be exactly what you want and you may have to relocate but if it is a good situation it will be worth it. Stay in touch, my email is in my profile.
