There is something about that bass

While in the market to get a flight case, I took my newly purchased Mark King Deluxe to the Guitar Center in San Mateo, CA to see if they could help me out find something suitable to best protect my new investment. Nothing they had in stock was remotely what I was looking for so I decided to go back to the internet and see what options where out there. Before I left the store, one of the store clerks was like, Dude, that is probably one of the most amazing looking basses I've ever seen come in here. Can I get a picture with it? I said, Sure plus I got to introduce someone to Alembic.
Very Nice.

Is it a long scale or short scale? I have a Jan Al flight case for sale in the FS forum. It's for a short scale, though.

It's a 32 scale bass, if anybody has a good flight case to recommend, it would be very appreciated.
Very Nice.

I have always been a fan of R&R Cases.

These Guitar Center guys need to get out more . . . . . I had the green Elan five-string in the car the other day, and I stopped into the NashVegas Guitar Center.  Turns out they had one of those MarkBass (I wonder if their reps pronounce it 'Mark-eh Baze-eh') Alain Caron combos (no, don't ask me, let's just say I won't be buying one).

So I go out to the car to get the Elan, bring it in, and you have to check it at the door (interesting, inasmuch as if I had my Carry Permit I wouldn't have to leave the Beretta . . . ).  Man, I drew a crowd.

Made me feel like I was somebody !

Hey Joey,  They liked my Rogue too   :o)

I was testing out a GK 4x10 cab.   Great deal at the 2011 Thanksgiving sale.

I love bringing my SCSD to Guitar Center, it always attracts a crowd! I wait until the drool is just about to run out of their mouth then flip on the LED's & watch them swoon! The salesman at my local GC that I always deal with is a bass player & I offered to let him play my Alembic & he is afraid to touch it!
