1979, somewhere in LA. I'm behind Susie, who we'd just finished a song about ("she's an inflatable dream...").
My rig is behind the guitarist - 2 alembic (pre bag end) 15" cabs, with a 2x12 on top, crown and HH amps in the rack, F2b. There's another 15 and 2x12 off camera somewhere. Moved a lot of air. I really miss the sound. On the other hand, about 4 years after that I had back surgery. Related? :)

My Custom fretless, 8 years to the day after my first gig with it, (June 12th, 2017 ) Chains went on yet another. Nothing special, at least not to anyone but me. Very special to me, every time I get to play this one, especially with these folks.

This is from one of two videos that my band the Cyberiam just shot. The song was actually recorded with my Distillate Exploiter, but I thought my newly acquired Spoiler had a better vibe for the video. I don't know why, LOL. I believe this will be released September first.

A short video I got sent from my gig a couple of weeks back

The bass is really heavy in the mix as the video was recorded in front of those huge subs in front and under the stage.

Here's the pit orchestra for "9-5" the musical. Europa 6 string and a double bass stashed in the corner. Great sounding group, this is SO much fun!

I bet that would be a fun one. What selection(s) is the upright used on?

It's about a quarter of the show, maybe?

"Here for You"--the "Mr. Hart" theme
"Backwood Barbie"--little two step diddy
The fantasies of the female leads when they get stoned. Three tunes, "Dance to Death", "Cowgirls Revenge" and "Potion Notion". Then segue into the finally "Joy to the Girls"
"One of the Boys" and the playoff
Super fun show!! The band gets to play along with a recorded track of Dolly singing a verse and chorus of "9-5" in the show finally!

Flip got the “bass face” happening!  😎

Daniel, the band looks great.

Played in a Pit for one run - without a doubt it was both terrifying AND exhilarating at the same time.

FC is a scary dude for such a friendly fella'... just part of the gig I reckon. 😊

Of course you can't play a badass black Series II Europa and have my goofy grin... that just wouldn't sell. 🤣

Nice photos, FC, bet it sounds great!  Just wondering, how did you attach your Alembic patch to your strap?
