This was from the free phil lesh/bob weir duo after party show at Reggie's Live that we played

Fun show. I'm tucked away in the back, in the dark. House rig was a bit of a mud-fest. There's video of one song, and the video actually pulses in time with the kick drum. Apparently they like to run the subs very loud at Reggie's. I was glad to have such an even-playing, stable instrument (my Essence 5)

A couple action shots of me and "Chain-Links" on the job... one from a recent audition show with Harwell-Grice Band, and one with New River Bound at a called contra-dance last Fall. Finally, one from soundcheck last Saturday.

Me and my first Alembic; a (restored) Persuader 5-string, on a wedding gig last night. Next month marks our fourth year together... without exaggeration, playing this bass has been a life-changing experience. Yeah, it sounds crazy... until you try it.

... playing this bass has been a life-changing experience ...

My first Alembic was as well.  So was my first Series bass.  And so was Karma, exponentially so; as it continues to be.

Me with my SJ, playing a big band gig.  Not a brilliant picture of the bass, except you can see its sandwich-ness.

Apparently, the guy on the bottom right of the picture can't believe how good your bass sounds; looks like he's having an OMG moment.
