My wife and I went on an extensive tour of Alembic's Santa Rosa workshop before the hodidays and we both had a great time while learning a lot. It was really cool to see the raw woods, the different stages of carving and bonding, the painting room, and we finished up in the electronics area. Mica arranged for James to do a sweet set up on my new Tribute while we toured and everyone there was just wonderful and very friendly. I can't stress enough how much they care about their products and customer satisfaction having seen it first hand. Alembic stands apart from all the other guitar/bass manufacturers that I know of! Thanks for your hospitality and keep on playing your gorgeous bass, Mica!

Thanks for your welcome. It really was a fantastic tour. The only bad thing that happened was that my wife got her 1st speeding ticket- ever- on the way home. But I thought it was pretty hillarious. Who reaches 29 and doesn't have at least one ticket under their belt?

I can't wait to take a tour, though I'm leaving the check book at home! Quite jealous of you native Californians who can do pop ins.

Sorry but I forgot my camera. It is really great to be able to visit so easily. And you should bring your check book. They had some really gorgeous basses and guitars hanging around. I would have bought the Darling had I not so recently purchased the Tribute.
