Does anyone know if the full range output can be used at the same time as the low and high pass outputs? I was thinking of running a full range cab with just lows to a shaker. I haven't bought the shaker yet, hoping to find out if my setup is doable before investing!

I believe there is some type of phase shifting that happens when you run full range out along with a low/high out at the same time. I tried it once on my F1X, but switched it back to just the high and low outputs...I think there is a way to correct this though...

Yes this is doable, the high and low pass outputs reverse the phase so you can reverse the phase on either the full range or the low pass circuit- the easiest way is to reverse the connection to the speaker input. Michael (Flame Koa Essence)

So if I made a special cable to go from preamp to amp with TS reversed on one end, that would change it back to in phase (or am I being too simplistic?). Thanks for the input!

Yes you could, but it's easier to do it on the speaker cable from amp to speaker- just make sure you mark it as polarity reverse. You can also just try running the system you described: F-1X full range output to amp to main speaker and F-1X low pass to amp to shaker without reversing the polarity of either. Try it both ways: straight up vs. reversing polarity on one of the systems. I have run my F-1X with a 2 channel amp using full range into my 15 folded/ported horn cab and high pass into the other channel into my 2-10 cab and did not have any problems with the polarity reversal in the crossover of the F-1x. The best part is you can't hurt anything by reversing the polarity at the speakers- I wouln't recommend doing the polarity reversal between the preamp and amp on 2 channel (stereo) amp as you may induce noise. By shaker, do you mean a powered sub? If so, then either it would have a built in crossover, so you could use a full-range out, or it wouldn't, and you could just take out the speaker and switch the wires going to it, or use a modified signal cable. On the other hand, if it has a built in crossover, it may be out of phase already, so you could use the lowpass out with no problem. Or, the builders could have had the forethought to reverse the phase for you, in which case....
