Bass boost/cut switch questions
«

hi--i was wondering if someone could tell me what the bass boost/cut switch (like in a europa bass) looks like inside the control cavity--is it like a q switch where it's a 3 way switch and some stuff soldered to it or is it like a switch with a circuit board attached to it?
thanks!!

I think it's much like a Q-switch, I saw a picture somewhere in the archives, although it wasn't a close up.
I don't know where it was going exactly, i.e. on its own or hook to a PCB...

I looked around but didn't see one. If no one posts a pic soon, bump this thread back to the top; we'll get one up eventually.

FYI,
In FAQ section about trim pots, a nice illustration of Europa electronics. Small switches with resistors and wires, not PCB's.
Heres Link:

Dave, sorry, I still can't seem to minimize the link. Maybe you can edit it?

I understand why you asked now, I saw on the showcase that you have done the upgrade. Congrats!
Thanks, for being the very first to volunteer for the project.
Nice Impro!

thanks! it was a great upgrade--especially since this bass has lots of low end and high end naturally so i use the Q to give it character-now that i have been playing it i may not even want a bass boost switch.
