Alembic Jazz pickups

I've just managed to pick up a couple of Alembic Jazz pickups and can't wait to get a Jazz to fit them in (I already have a custom Jazz Deluxe but I don't want to mess with it).
What can I expect?
Is there any sound clips I can check out?

I had a J-bass Activator set in a Fender before I ponied up for my first Spoiler.
They're very clear in the vein of EMGs, but with an actual tone to them. I think you'll be happy.

Though the stock pickups sounded ok (after removing the original preamp) I must say I'm very happy with the result. Great backup for the real thing :-)
