« on: March 19, 2005, 04:24:25 PM »
Hello All-I just bought this Alembic-type guitar at a pawnshop-I have no idea what it is.The logo is a pearl S over a treble cleff,on a black back ground. The bridge looks like an Alembic.Nice wood-flame,birds-eye,etc.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like it might be an early Spector from the logo description and looking at that upper horn.

You think so? There is no serial# or writing on it. Pick ups are Dimarzio. Some of the work looks crude, like almost home made. Thanks.

Yep, it's a late '70s Spector. It's got a few too many strings, but overall a handsome instrument (LOL).
