Religous Experience: Ampeg B2B (or B25?)
« on: June 05, 2005, 05:39:30 AM »
LASt night I had a true religous experience.  I played my series 1 through an old ampeg B2B head afriend of mine had, coming out my Bag End 1x15 cabinet.  I have never played through anything that clean sounding in my life.  The sound was tight, dry and woody....

My friend, who is a gutair player will not part with this at all...so I am now ona quest for one.

I found a B25 up for sale, which looks similar to the B2B. Does anyone know how similar these amps are?

Thanks.

Not played a B25, but I'm a big fan of the B2B. I recently purchased a Thunderfunk TFB420, and I have to say that this sounds so much like a B2B it's uncanny.  If you  get an opportunity, try them out.
