Can anyone recommend a good luthier in the LA or OC area?
« on: June 04, 2005, 01:28:49 AM »
I need to have a refret done on my SC deluxe and I don't personally know of a good luthier in the Los Angeles or Orange County area(s) (So. Cal).
I know there are probably a dozen or more - I just don't know who they might be.  I do my own setup and seldom have need for a visit to a luthier so I am a bit stuck - don't want to throw a dart at the phone book for this.

Can anyone recommend someone that they have used?  I spoke to Valentino about doing a refret and this is not something they typically get involved in unless the fret board is being replaced.

I would greatly appreciate any leads you can offer.
thanks,
greg

I have a great bass guy, very familiar with Alembics (claimed to have done work for Stanley Clarke once).  He's in North Hollywood.  Feel free to e-mail me if interested.
