An electric 6 string into a f-1x

is it bad for the f-1x if i ran a 6 string fender guitar through it?

We actually use our F-1X and bass rig to demo guitars in our showroom and to test guiars in the setup room - we're just used to how it sounds.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. I happen to have an old Gibson that i'm quite fond of.
 
Welcome to the club, Larry; care to tell us more about how you came to have an F-1X (and what's on the other side of it), as a non-Alembic, non-bass player?

It should be a classic match made in heaven. If you read the description of the F-1X and the F-2B, they use the tone circuitry design from THE master amplifier of the mid sixties (IMHO), the Fender Dual Showman.
