Alembic Straps

Wow! My strap arrived today and it is everything Alembic promised, w-i-d-e, soft and comfortable as all get-out! Between this strap and the weight lifting I've been doing for two years now, my dinky self can support my 98 Orion with Std. Pt. body. It's like getting a new bass! Next gig - out it goes! Thanks Alembic!

I received mine on Friday as well, nice leather.  It's a little shorter than my existing strap, but I take that as a sign that I might need to hold the guitar a little closer to my eyes!  It really is comfortable.....after many hours of playing, I hardly even noticed it was there.

I received my black Alembic strap today. I was surprised about the speedy delivery considering the fact that I live in The Netherlands. Anyway, the strap is absolutely wonderful. The softest and most beautiful quality leather and immaculate craftsmanship. Extremely comfortable. This strap has the best look and feel of any strap I've owned and tried so far. The Alembic strap excels in comfort over my Comfort Strapp, which will now be my spare. The gold logo contrasts beautifully with the black leather.

My bass and this strap deserve each other.
If you haven't ordered one for your Alembic, I suggest you do.

Got my order today.  I guess I'm superstitious, but I'm saving the black one for my new Alembic when it arrives.  My son tells me the one I ordered for him does a lot to make the lumber in his Telecaster lighter.  The quality of the leather is great - Just what you'd want an Alembic strap to be.

Bill; I think the instructions specifically said that the straps can only be used with Alembic instruments .

Yeah Bill, Dave's right. I guess you're going to have to order an Alembic California Special for your son, to go with the strap!

That's a worry, all right.  The family and I'll be visiting Santa Rosa the week of Easter break.  The last time my son sat down with a whole room of high quality guitars, he came away with the Telecaster.  That was 2 1/2 years ago.  Since then his playing and taste have both improved dramatically.  He's already working on me:  Hey Dad, how come you get to spend thousands on a custom bass when I practice more than you??.  I don't give his chances of getting me to buy an Alembic guitar a snowball's chance in @#?!&!.  But I do think he'll walk away from Alembic with a jones of his own...

It seems that the Alembic/Moody's collaboration is a great success. The leather is beautiful, and that 4 inch width  makes this one of the most comfortable (and best looking) straps that I've ever worn. Thanks to all involved for bringing us yet another fine product!
Correction: there is 'much' money to be made above the fifth fret....

Got my strap last night and opened it at rehearsal. We were enjoying the new leather smell. Too bad that part won't last, but if I'm not sweating, I'm not playing.

I ordered my strap Monday and I picked it up this morning at UPS @ about 8:30. I certainly would encourage anyone who doesn't own one and says that I can't afford one, to start saving additional funds. This strap is worth every penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar... your shoulder/back will be spared further injury/stress=priceless. Hey, I haven't even attached the strap to my bass yet!       Feels so good simply resting on my shoulder...

I put the strap on today, and the heavy weight of my bass just vanished! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... to club members for asking, MICA for listening, ALEMBIC for another fine product, all at MOODY BLUES for designing and UPS for delivering.
