I show 8322 as a 1994 Epic, Maybe it's really 91 EVH 6322? If so, here's the details:

Top: Walnut
Body: Maple
Neck: 3 piece Maple 32 medium scale
Fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid ovals
Body shape: Edwin (version not recorded)
Body carving: tummy cut and extended round elbow cut
Pickups: 2 AXY
Electronics: volume, pan, filter x2, 3-position Q switch x2
Hardware: Brass with bridgeblcok
Tuners: Gold Schaller
Finish: Clear gloss polyester, Edwin signature decal
Birthday: January 22, 1991
Originally sold to: WILS

Hope my guess was right on the serial number, if not, let me know the corrected number when you get the bass later this week.

Thank you very much for your effort Mica, I think it must be 6322 indeed, but nevertheless I'll check on it Saturday and let you know if it isn't. BTW: this is her (she seems to fit your description perfectly), maybe you or someone on this board could say something more about the evolution of the EvH body shape, and also which version she is?

Wilfred, yours is version 1: The same as my 4 string and 5 string
I am sure the serial number is correct, if I compare it with mine.

There is another version 1 here, that is almost the same as yours.

EVH Body shape version 2 is like this one and the latest featured custom of the month as Edwin just received. Edwin latest bass has Series II electronics

Jan, many thanks for the great info, you know what? I'm having great fun already with only the pictures and specs to hold onto, but I'm sure this weekend will be wonderful!

Actually there are 3 main EVH templates and several other minor variations on the 3 models, but I don't believe we have templates for those. Edwin likes to tweak his design periodically.
