Circles Round the Sun
« on: Today at 01:35:36 AM »
I was walking up the stairs to the reception at the rehearsal facility I was in last night and heard this  music and thought that sounds like an Alembic. Got to the desk and playing on this giant screen was this band. I'd never heard of them before so got the link to the video and watching it at my desk today.
Sharing for you to enjoy too.

I posted that one on the "What Are You Listening To" thread a while back; stumbled it through a search for Ms. Davis.  Pretty darn good (though I like them a bit better with Makaela sitting in than without).

Check out their album "Interludes for the Dead'" - I was at the Fare Thee Well shows in Santa Clara and enjoyed the set break music more than the show (!). It's streaming at all the usual places and here's more info:  https://nealcasalmusicfoundation.org/interludes-for-the-dead

There are also some good recordings at Archive.org. - their set at Skull and Roses 4 was fun.

So nice to hear Dan on his vintage S1!
